I haven't followed this thread but wanted to share that I've just cared for a mother baby/dyad where the mother not only had maternal hypothyroidism, but also Sjogren's syndrome and postpartum fluxus (1300 mls.!). The baby thrives on mothers' milk, straight from the source! Day 8, well over birthweight. YES, YES, YES! This is 'what we do it for'. Don't know what the future will bring but she had a good start and no-one can ever take this from her!
