Patricia, if the woman got pregnant, I do mnot think her hormones were too much out of balance, You say: ´´baby is slightly under birth weight´´, does this mean: baby is still under bw, but gaining, or: baby was gaining but went down, or baby lost weight and did not start recovering. When P&P (pee and poop) are fine (as you say), I´d presume the first to be the one and there should be no reason for concern. Perhaps a slight increase in frequence, a latch check and/or some additional massage during feeding might do the trick and bring baby´s weight up enough to satisfy the dr. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Gonneke van Veldhuizen, IBCLC MOM, LLLL, primary schoolteacher Hiilensberg, Germany *********************************************** The LACTNET mailing list is powered by L-Soft's renowned LISTSERV(R) list management software together with L-Soft's LSMTP(TM) mailer for lightning fast mail delivery.
