All we can do is show by our behaviour and outlook what we are like. The hostility towards bf and bf supporters comes from *inside the head* in many cases. Volunteer training in bf almost always includes some 'debriefing' - even shorter, peer supporter training does, too - so attitudes, experiences and expections can be explored in a non-judgemental, supportive way. I think this approach could well be helpful to HPs who feel criticised and hostile, but I can't see it happening in many places.
