I have found that I find much more confrontation with doctors when I go in with my information in hand. I get the opinion that they wonder why I am seeing them if I've already done the work. Many doctors don't like their patients taking part in managing their own health care. There are a few doctors out there that will actually sit down and talk about different options, but so many just want you to follow the steps that they line up for you.
