Gee I think we all know that a woman that orders from the LLL catalog has already gotten some decent information. ******************************** I don't think we can assume that. Not all women who join LLL attend meetings, not all women who attend meetings are comfortable asking questions like that of their leader, and not all leaders are good. I'm sure there are many good ones around, but I'm also pretty certain that all of us who have attended conferences and been on the internet have encountered leaders we wouldn't ask for information on even a trivial issue. Sad, but true. Some have poor communication skills and others just don't have information at the top of their heads. People are like that. I think all materials need to have a nice set of well written directions, even things that may stray off the immediate topic. If the packaging insert for Pure Lan mentions correct positioning and nipple confusion and the phone number of the Medela help line, *that* could do more good than just telling a mother to apply sparingly to her nipples, as an example. ===== Kate Hallberg, mom to Ursula (5!) and Sage (2.5) http://www.cs.colorado.edu/~kolina http://www.geocities.com/Heartland/Ridge/8193/ "There is no snooze button on a cat who wants breakfast."-Unknown "Cats are smarter than dogs.
