Can anybody please point me to some resources dealing with concerns/healing where there is a near complete or complete tear of the upper labial frenulum (the one which runs between the upper lip and the center of the upper gum)? I know that we are not supposed to ask for personal input here, and this is for myself (our son fell today and tore his clear through), so I am looking for pointers to information regarding whether it may still heal despite the complete tear, and if not, what possible problems we need to anticpate vis nursing, etc. Thanks.
