Lots of comments to Karen already re the pill, but...
Almost anywhere in the world you ask, you will find reports of mothers having
problems with milk supply on the minipill or Depo.  Sadly, these never get
documented or published.  Barbara Gross in Sydney, Australia was planning on
doing a research project in this area.  I haven't checked the literature, but
it may have been published by now.  Mike Woolridge has seen milk supply
increase with Depo use in Thailand.  The biological reality is that women vary
as individuals, so we can probably expect any response.

Question to Kathy A: What is "BFL" where Kathy Kennedy has written about
lactational amenorrhea?  Sorry for my ignorance of acronyms.
