Hi,
This is my first try at a comment. I am Pat Lewis, have a PhD in zoology and
got interested in lactation by doing a post doc in Australia, investigating
lactational amenorrhoea (my spelling drifts between cultures). My interest
continues, but my employment is not in lactation at present.
Lisa mentioned interest in relactation. You might want to contact a couple
of people in Australia, Virginia Phillips and Jan Edwards. Both could be
reached throught the Australian LC Assoc (ALCA) at Flat2, 32 Kooyong Rd,
Armadale, Vic, 3143, Australia. Virginia has been collecting information on
relactation for many years and Jan worked with a very special induced
lactation situation. Two sisters, one acting as surrogate mother for the
other. The mother who did not carry the pregancy induced lactaion. Between
both women, the baby was fully breastfed. Jan was their midwife.

Pat
