The ABM protocol says 3-10 mL/kg.  You are correct that it does not specify 
the time after birth in the recommendations, but the normal stomach size is in 
the earlier discussion and in the full literature review : Wight, 
Breastfeeding Medicine 2006; 1(4):253-262.
