Heidi,
How about the birth mom provides whatever available at the hospital, and once
home then begin donor milk.  Unless they anticipate a sick newborn neeeding a
prolonged stay.  I would encourage the donor to begin extra pumping and
storage now.  Certainly, the shortest course would be to simply call the
nurse manager and ask her how she would like things to "go down" on the unit
when the baby is born. This puts her in a more friendly, offensive position.
((Nurses usually don't like being backed into a wall by administration or
docs))  Good luck and I sure am praying the outcome of the birth mom is good!
