I remember breast buds!!  My mom had her cousin (an RN), look at me after I
freaked out while watching Terms of Endearment.  I guess I thought I was dying
or something.  They were tender, too.  I was about 9, I think.  Oh well- in 8
1/2 years I'll be on the lookout for my own daughter's buds! That's one thing
I'm looking forward to sharing with my daughter, the passage to womanhood. I
am so used to discussing these issues, I just hope it comes as easily when
it's time.
By the way, what's the youngest mom anyone has had lactating? I had a 12 year
old pregnant mom in WIC, and I'm wondering if there are any special concerns
physically.
