Hi Everyone,
I hope Kathleen deems this appropriate to post but I couldn't think of better people to ask. So here goes:
As some of you may know I opened a lactation center in NJ in 1996> Prior to that I was in private practice and worked as a Regional Coordinator for the WIC Breastfeeding Promotion and Support Program. I have been on Lactnet since then.

This is the thing: With the encouragement and support of my clients.....I sent in a last minute (literally 11pm/deadline midnight!) video entry to pitch a show for Oprah Winfrey's new network (OWN). A show for new parents related to what we all do everyday: build better families, one baby at a time! The video could only be 3 min and we had 4 hrs of tape, we just shot and edited it ourselves. Broadly topic based but you better believe my constant theme will be "the baby best interest" which means what? Breastfeeding! This could be a tremendous platform for our cause. Since we entered at the last minute, I could use as many votes as possible! So click on the link below and if you like it...vote! You can also write comments which will be seen by hundreds of thousands of people.
