I spoke to a reported today looking to talk to a mom who had been arrested
or threatened with arrest for breastfeeding in public. I explained to her
that it is unlikely she will find such a person. But, I'd be interested to
know if any of you have ever heard of such a situation.
Thanks,

A few years ago, I think in 1996 (because my son was an infant at the
time)..a woman was arrested for breastfeeding her baby in a car in at a mall.
This was in Connecticutt. Charges were dropped, and there was some publicity
and outrage. I don't know the name, or the city, but the major Connecticut
paper is the Hartford Courant and I believe they did a story.
