In my experience the moms are given
the depo without being asked if they are breastfeeding or
not and they are not informed that many moms lose their
supplies. My experience ranges from moms who were injected
at d/c from the hospital to a mom of an exclusively nursing
5-month old who was assured that the depo would not diminish
their supply. Sigh....
