Is your client's hyperandrogenemia related to any syndromes, such as PCOS?
What other symptoms did she have besides hirsutism-- acne? male pattern
balding? weight problems? Any infertility or other reproductive problems?

Hyperandrogenemia theoretically might impact lactation in ways such as
down-regulating prolactin receptors. But, we just know so little at this
point. It is good to hear that mom is experiencing breast changes-- hope for
some good growth.
