Well, I can only say that none of my three children ever used pacifiers,
all were fed on cue for as long and as often as they wanted. Of my three
kids, both boys had terrible biting problems. One moved on from biting
the breast to biting family members who did something to make him angry
(and this was from the most content of the three, an almost constantly
smiling baby and toddler.) How many of those biting older pacifier-users
were also male? I think a good study would have to be done before we
jump to conclusions.
