Hello everyone,

I'm new to the list although I have read the archives a couple of times before. Let me briefly introduce myself:

My name is Ibolya Rozsa, I'm a Hungarian LLL Leader, Vice-President of LLL Hungary. My husband and I have 3 sons: Istvan(12), Andras(7) and Gergo(3). Gergo is still breastfeeding. This July, I sat for the IBCLC exam and now I'm waiting for the results. I recently started training for Professional Liason in LLL FAiE.

May I have some help here? A mother I helped reported that after her daughter was born she expressed clear drops from her breasts. Only a few drops and next time they were yellow. The nurse in the hospital told her that the clear drops were real colostrum and they were even more valueable than the usual yellow.

Would someone with experience in this matter share her thoughts with me please?

Thanks in advance
Ibolya Rozsa
LLLL, IBCLC2B
