the Your Child Now section, pertaining to 10 month olds. Check this out.

                                       "There is no "right time" to stop
breastfeeding your baby. Some mothers do it in the first couple of months
after birth so they can go back to work; others breastfeed supplementally
for up to two years." Blah Blah Blah,etc.
"Finally, there's a compelling physiological reason to start to wean now:
youngsters who nurse more than twice a day past their first birthdays may
not eat enough solid foods to get all the nutrients they need."
