There is a book called "The Trap" by Sir James Gold*something* (Goldsmith
maybe). It details that BGH causes increased organ sizes in the cows babies
- increased heart muscle, increased kidney size, ... It causes increased
miscarriages too. The pharmacutical company which makes BGH or BST, claims
that none of it shows up in the milk but that is not so. BST/BGH ends up in
the end product - our cow milk. It is also illegal to claim that a
particular product is BST/BGH-free, or at least it was illegal when the book
was published. This is beacause claiming to be BST/BGH-free would imply that
there is something wrong with the hormone. I read this about 5 years ago.
