Don't forget the American Breastfeeding Institute’s National Association of Donor Milk Banks! Does anyone belong to these organizations other than Lois Arnold?
She previously was the CEO of NADMB and is now the coordinator. The American Breastfeeding Institute is a voting member of the US Breastfeeding Committee.

I had to look up ALPP. Apparently "the Academy of Lactation Policy and Practice, Inc. is a non-profit organization that provides a national credentialing program in Breastfeeding and Human Lactation for nurses, physicians, dietitians, WIC personnel, peer counselors, independent lactation counselors and others. Founded in 1999, ALPP is dedicated to improving the foundation of breastfeeding comprehension and understanding throughout the United States by providing certificates of added qualification in breastfeeding."
In other words, it is the testing portion of Healthy Children.

Perhaps someone could clarify the alphabet soup of the non-profit organizations that surround Healthy Children. Is this all about having a non profit status to reduce tax burden?

I have been curious about this for a long time. Thanks for bringing this up.
Sincerely, Rachel Wahl
