Lisa,
It could be something as simple as the part that fits into the flange
(rubber stopper) or the tube that measures the airflow. I have one that my  husband
made for me from parts at the auto store years ago. (That's how they  used to
measure vacuum in valves - I'm not even sure cars have them anymore!)
