**Hi Gonneke,

I think this is English language literature referred to as growth spurts.

**Thanks; I'll look it up.

**So, you mean that if babies were all fed ad lib, 'regeldagen' would not
exist...?

**Thank you; this was another question in the brochure I made a remark
about, but did not ask in my previous e-mail. Would be weird, somehow,
raising and raising and raising production with every growth spurt... ;o)
Does that mean, then, that baby just takes in more during a couple of days
and then production is back to what it was before? So it's not that baby, on
a structural basis, takes in more per feeding after the 'regeldagen', but
just eats more during a few days to make up for the 'deficit', caused by not
fully activating all the prolactin receptors...? Fascinating material...
It's in the Hale/Hartmann-book probably, right...? Gosh, I'm already swamped
in books! Why does noone ever sell additional time with it, when you buy a
book?!?! hahaha
Any more thoughts on the matter are welcome. Never too old to learn, right?
;o)

**Yep! Well, deserved, girl! Have a look here, wise ones:
http://www.borstvoeding.com/nieuwsberichten/bvprijs-2008.html#meer. The
second picture shows Gonneke with the other two nominees next to her. The
honour of photographing these ladies was mine. ;o)

Warmly,

Marianne
