Patricia Bornman (sp?) wrote a paper once on how a hospital could be sued, in theory, for battery for feeding formula to an infant against the parents' specific instructions. Don't think anyone has actually filed such a suit.

I searched the archives and couldn't find anything. I remember hearing about a hospital in California that was sued and lost because they supplemented a breastfeeding baby. Does anybody have more information or links about this? I would like to share this information with my boss.
