I certainly can't speak for anyone else who's posted on the subject, but I can say that Emma herself has reached out privately to thank me for my contribution to this conversation on Lactnet.

Lactnet is our worldwide community. This is the place where we in the industry can review things and hash them out in a way that would otherwise be impossible. The EOF leadership is as attuned to this discussion as they would be to any other means of contact, I can assure you.

I think your thoughts on the subject itself, rather than just the means by which we're discussing it, would be much more valuable.

Amy West, CLC

PS- one thing to note about EOF operating on Facebook: not allowing photos to be posted to the EOF pages may reduce the likelihood that Facebook will pick on them, but it isn't a sure thing. Facebook can take down any page, any time, for any reason (or none at all). Given Facebook's attitude toward and treatment of breastfeeding in the past, that's the danger of putting all the EOF eggs in that basket.

Sent from my iPad (so please be gentle if I've missed any typos ;)
