Hello!
I have a client who has her Phd from UCLA in biological chemistry.  She has a
keen interest in lactation both from a personal and professional point of
view.  She called today as her pediatrician (obviously not as enlightened as
we'd hope) told her that*Nursing mothers who nurse longer that 16 m have
psychlogical problems*that any benefits against breast cancer was gone and
that she wasn't doing any favors for herself or her baby and advised her to
wean her 16 m.o. at once.

I have told her of our discussions.  She has asked me to post her e-mail
address if any one would be so kind as to contact her regarding long term
nursing.  I hope I am not doing anything forbidden by posting her address.
