I had a similar case recently which turned out to be laryngeomalasia (not
sure of the spelling here) which is what I suspected and kept recommending
the mom see an ent. this particular baby had stridor-like sounds and also a
high resp rate. the peds advised her to go at 2 mos but she had to go sooner
like 2 wks. so i would keep recommending the referral. whenever i feel the
baby is just not quite right or if the mom feels this way, they need to be
checked further. the baby transferred milk well and was gaining but was
never settled and cried alot.
