Hello Susan,

One of the many benefits to breastfeeding is that there is a lower rate 
of SIDS.  Of course all moms want to avoid this if at all possible, so 
mentioning this (even though the thought of it is really scary to new 
moms) I think can sometimes sway a mom of any age to give it a try.  
(I've seen this happen on several other lists I belong to.) 

It's just a thought.  :)
