A representative for a company selling gripe water came to my office
yesterday. She states that gripe water is great for babies with colic and
all kinds of stomach ailments. I have seen gripe water sold at lactation
conferences, but I have not had any experience with moms who have given
this to their babies. Is it effective? Does it cause any problems? Is it
something that other lactation consultants recommend?

She also stopped by our women's center gift shop and asked the gift shop
manager if they will carry this product in the gift shop along with other
baby items. The manager has called and asked me what I think.

I would like to know more about this product, if others have experience.
