Dear all,

I should tell you that WellStart, INt. and the US Committee for UNICEF (thank
you to our dear friends in both places) are committed to Baby Friendly in the
US, and are hoping to be able to start assessments of hospitals who currently
have Certificates of Intent and feel they are ready to be assessed for BFHI,
by June or July of this year. Maybe, just maybe, our first baby-friendly
hospital(s) in the US can be announced by World Bf Week. Keep our
lactnetting fingers crossed for them all (but not so crossed that you can't
net!)

My next to last overhead during the presentation was that since the BFHI was
the "gold standard" we should all,

GO FOR THE GOLD!
