Hello,
Well I have no idea of what can happen in "our" medical journals;
What I know is that:
Whenever they put an small article about the benefits of breastmilk it is
always: short, and with the assertion
"to the opinion of this team, BM could be beneficial for children but one
must not forget that "it may" not be quite sure, several studies prooved the
contrary" and so on...
So let's not talk about the benefits of breastfeeding for babies and
mothers...
Once, about the IQ scores, one doctor said it was unethitical to say BM
could have an impact on IQ scores...
And some times, there is a study that is quite ambiguous about protectiv
effets of BM concerning allergies for example, and there you can find a
large A4 page in the medical journal!
I also had the unhappiness to note differences in the content of some
article edited in the medical journal, and the whole meaning of the real
study;
Well I don't know if the medical journals received money from medicines/ABM
manufacturers; I don't know if some ghost writers exist;
maybe I am paranoiac or maybe I am illiterate and don't understand what I
can read....
Sometimes, must I say: I have doubts :-)
French thoughts,
Breast regards,
