Just wanted to share a story with you. My younger daughter has an ASD
(hole in her heart). We used to go to the Cardiologist every 6 months
and have a check-up and an echocardiogram (like a sonogram of the
heart). Usually, babies and young children are sedated so that accurate
info will be obtained and no false info from too much moving around.
In our case, I just climbed up on the table with Caitlin and nursed her
throughout the procedure, she never budged! The cardiologist was
supportive and I later found out that I know his daughter because she is
one of the mothers of multiples in my bf class. Small world.
