When my oldest 2 children were preschoolers my daughter would beg her brother to play 'family' with her and be the 'daddy' to her 'babies'.  He would confound her every time by playing along for a few minutes and then handing the baby back to her stating "he's hungry".  He'd then go about his little boy business.  ;0)
