Hi, Pam:  Please refer this mom and baby to an OT for evaluation ASAP!  One 
experienced in feeding and sensory integration would be ideal, as it appears 
from your post that there are serious issues going on.  This scenario has the 
potential for negatively impacting this mom's and baby's relationship for the 
rest of their lives.
Good luck to them!  I hope they find the help they need.
