I have not seen any bleeding problems in breastfeeding mothers. I hope this 
doctor is checking other possible causes.
He may be thinking that oestrogen has a coagulant effect, so if levels are 
lower (as in lactation), there might be more bleeding than usual? 
Theoretical.
