the field crew came to do the field (home) shots of us
for the dr phil show today.  The sound guy is my
neighbor; the girls played with his kids at the pool
last Sunday.  The camera guy is a local volunteer
firefighter- very nice.  Even better, the field
producer, Carrie, is knowledgable about and
appreciates the finer aspects of attachment parenting!
 She was *very* enthusiastic when I was discussing why
I breastfeed, what my background is (physiology and
endocrinology)- I didn't know if she was just
naturally enthusiastic but after my grueling portion
was done, she told me that she was a producer for an
attachment parenting special on PBS.  Wonderful!!

Carrie was thrilled with how outgoing and personable
Ursula is and attributed it to her attached
upbringing.

my "dr Phil" question was "How do I respect the girls'
need for the comfort they get from nursing, while
reponding to my own societal concerns."  So, that was
the "dilemma" we wound up with.  Phrasing it was
difficult- not quite what I wanted, but close.
(Darcy- I should have had you come to help me phrase
it!!)

and now I'm exhausted.  It took 4 hours for what will
be 3 minutes of tape, tops.
