I just want to mention that the mother-baby that I talked about last week
starting breastfeeding at 5 days of life was because the RN's in the Hosp. had
told her that she couldn't BF b/c of her med, which was EFFEXOR! at five days
she was still dripping milk/ engorged, from the minute we put the baby on-
which luckily was a perfect latcher! she never got another drop of formula!!!!!
And she is gaining FINE!!!! Mom had been upset that the formula was making her
constipated, now she poops everyfeeding!!! I told mom "Be careful what you wish
for!"  Its an amazing success story, even with all the risk factors (no nipple
contact for FIVE DAYS!) Her supply is just fine!  It probably does depend on
the dose, this mom was on 75 mg / day a fairly low dose- it can go up to 150mgs
