Hi,

We have started a private practice lactation consultation business with some retail sales as well. We are not affiliated with any medical provider.

We are both IBCLC and RN. I'm wondering if you can help us out with a billing question.

We have looked at a couple of lactation super bills and they all use provider codes eg 99203, 99213, 99342 & 99349. We are feeling uncomfortable using these since we are not MD providers. Do you use these codes, have you had any difficulties and any hints?

Thank You for your time in advance,

Jeni Harvey
