When was the mom pumping?  Was this the case over a long period or did
she just pump a time or so initially and then give up?  I have seen some
colostrum be clear initially (although with the consistency and
stickiness of thick sugar water, so it certainly wasn't just "water").
It would be interesting to have it analyzed if it was more than just the
initial pumping or so.
