Hi Nicole,

Liked your post.  A thought.  Do you think that perhaps women separate from
their children because A) deep down they are afraid of the intensity of the
feelings these children bring on, and perhaps they don't want to be as
attached as these feelings dictate, and B) that's the way they were treated.
 Most of us (brought up in the era of bottles & schedules and a polite kiss
on the forehead) were separated from our parents -- remember when playpens
were the norm?  They've simply been replaced by baby buckets....
