How funny! And not funny...I have noticed this, too.
The newborns who are gassy (some just are, ya know?)
AND have received Lipil do seem to have FOUL SMELLING
gas. I mean it is BAD. I worked a surgical unit for
several years, during which I encountered some pretty
rank stuff (pseudomonas wound infections--the worst!,
colostomies, fistulas...) and odors in general do not
get to me, they are not my "gross out" trigger.

Last week, I met with a mom/baby pair for a bedside
consultation; Baby was about 48 hours old. During the
40 minute meeting, this little guy produced some
flatus that made me cringe. Mom stated the baby had
been gassy from day one, but that the gas had not had
any odor, until AFTER she had topped him off post
breastfeeds with Lipil. Not surprising, considering
what the stuff has in it.

"New and improved" my butt!
Carole
