Hi All,
In our WIC PC program we have 2 moms who are blind and have more than 1
child. One of our moms was a LLLL candidate (don't know what happened).
 Both are great PC's, btw!

Also, have a mom who has struggled for months to get her baby to breast.
Baby is very smart and is 7 1/2 mo old now. About 1 1/2 mo ago, baby
decided that she liked breast best and refused her bottles!!! Boy were we
happy! Well, 2 weeks ago, mom ruptured a disk and couldn't move. She had to
send baby to her sister-in-laws for a week, until she could move again.
While she was at home, flat on her back, she pumped avery 3 hours to
maintain her milk supply. She said it was not easy to pump lying down (I'll
bet not!). Anyway, when she was able to get baby back, baby was very angry
at mom for leaving her for a week. Mom was afraid that baby would refuse the
breast. But, while baby was irritated with mom, she went right back to
breast!! Talk about a yucky situation! Mom is still in a lot of pain but is
doing great!
