My first degree was in English and I too am fascinated by words. Language
is alive and changing constantly, so even though there are word and grammar
curmudgeons out there (and sometimes I am one of them) we constantly have a
shot at making "feeding a baby" mean breastfeeding...After all, many many
people now use the word "infer" to mean "imply" (it's on every list of
"commonly confused words") and will probably sooner rather than later its
definition will include "often used to mean imply!"

So let's keep at it. If we can help change breastfeeding rates why not take
on the language!

And I have now definitely used up more than my quota of quotation marks
today so goodbye!

change too)
