Mary Kay, congratulations for speaking up!

It *is* a common thing, but that doesn't mean it has to be. I'm not a big
movie-goer, but I'd venture to guess that we don't see cigarettes hanging
out of the mouths of Julia Roberts or Richard Geer the way we did with
Lauren Bacall or Humphrey Bogart. It's just a symbol that is supposed to
bring some character trait or concept to mind. But is that the message we
want to give? Nothing changes until someone objects, which you did!

(I'm going to see Runaway Bride with my beloved husband this weekend....)
