I don't know if anyone has mentioned this, but often babies who get bottles
(as well as the pacifiers already mentioned) bite on the breast. If baby is
allowed to chew or bite on the bottle nipple, then it stands to reason they
will continue to bite or chew on mom. I've seen lots of babies in strollers
or car seats at stores just chewing away at their bottles. Not really
drinking, just gumming the nipple. While this isn't scientific, it seems the
worst biters I get calls on are the ones getting bottles.
