Susan - this is purely from my own experience, but when I was living in
Tiveria I was informed by my eye specialist as a matter of course that I
would have problems with my eyes while I was breastfeeding and that there
was no point in altering my prescription for contact lenses until my babies
were weaned. When I eventually moved back to UK I was told exactly the same
thing. Since I have fed all my children for over two years (my twins were
nearly four when they stopped) I had to wait quite a while until I could get
new lenses.
