My first thoughts on your case are
1. musculoskeletal / nerve pain from 9 months of twin pregnancy and now
possible positioning issues - have you seen her breastfeed in person?
2. thrush / yeast due to the "taste of blood" in her mouth (there is often a metallic taste with yeast infection)
and burning, fire pain - does she have any risk factors or signs and symptoms or do babies?
