Okay, I don't understand this. If it's impossible to get enough Vitamin D
from the sun, how did people survive all these generations?

I haven't had my levels tested, but my daughter who lives in Toronto gets
tested every year, and has been told her levels are excellent. That's
Toronto - pretty far north, and she's right downtown in a big city. She is
vegan and eats no Vitamin-D fortified foods, so all the Vitamin D she gets
must come from sunlight. She is outdoors pretty much every day, and walks to
and from work and goes for runs along the lakeshore, but much of the time
the weather is pretty cold, so she's at least partially covered up.

So how did we get enough Vitamin D before supplements were invented?
