Heres my 2 cents on the RNS Dr CPS topic,
Regardless of who or "what" they are, the need for
GOOD education is a much needed thing. I have met
great RNS and Dr, who knew vast amounts about
breastfeeding. Then there are some , well who need to
spend more time on the subject. CPS is put into place
to remove children from the home. Sometimes needed
sometimes not. The simple fact is , parents are guilty
until proven innocent.Granted, it is for the child's
need, but everyone knows it is a scary system when a
phone call can destroy the family.
I also am curious why the extended nursing subject is
being called "unhealthy long term breastfeeding"
I feel as is mothers have a difficult time
breastfeeding past a year. I think we need to be
careful of what we call our topics. Regardless of who
is reading it.
I am not trying to unpet or step on toes.
have a great day..
