absolutely.   our milk is affected by what we eat.  the fats in our milk
are affected by what we eat.  we can optimize the amounts of lcpufa's in
our milk,  the  saturated fats in our milk (like capric and lauric) and
minimize unwanted fats in our milk (hydrogenated) by eating an optimal
diet....

and it's not just fats....maternal diets impact breastmilk.  I don't
talk a whole bunch about it with parents though unless they have a
strong interest and committment.  I don't want anyone to walk away
thinking that b/c they don't eat a great diet, they shouldn't nurse,  yk?
