Pam, I'm puzzled.  What do the hospital's protocols have to do with night
nursing or caries, especially night nursing?  Surely they can't be planning
to keep newborns away from their mothers all night!  Under what other
circumstances could this be an issue in the hospital?  Is it a matter of
what they want "their" MDs to recommend/endorse/discourage?
